Sometimes when I do remember something, I'm not sure if it actually really happened or I dreamt it. I mean, sometimes I know, but other times I'm left wondering and wanting more.

My girls already talk about growing up. When they do, I tell them to just enjoy being a kid, because it's not always THAT much fun being a grown up. I miss being a kid so much sometimes, but I think it's partly because I want to go back and remember and hold onto so many of the good memories that were made.

That being said...I loved my small time and being able to play with my friends close by, with parents not worrying about us too much. My friend, Kristen & I used to pretend we were Randy Travis' twin daughters and would sing his songs and "act out" music videos on her front porch.

Sorry for the long comment...I should have just made my own blog post. :)The Casady Clanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10658312248075083874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1378559440592324702.post-14589859374050093012011-03-17T13:55:51.355-05:002011-03-17T13:55:51.355-05:00One of my favorite childhood memories: running aro...One of my favorite childhood memories: running around barefoot at dusk, when the dew starts to collect, and then running inside and having my dad warm my feet with his big, calloused hands...which were always warm.
Memories are nice! ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01650922706721627497noreply@blogger.com
